Pakistan is our dear homeland. It is the realization of the dream of Allama Iqbal. It is the greatest achievement of  the Quaid-e-Azam. It is a republic and Islamabad is its  capital. It appeared on the map of the world on the 14th f august 1947. For 23 years it remained divided into two parts--East Pakistan and West Pakistan.  But Indian aggression actively backed by a big World Power deprived us of East Pakistan. This brought into being a new so-called independent state called Bangladesh on December 17,1971. It was recognized by Pakistan in  a meeting of the Islamic Summit Conference on February 23,1974. Still our new Pakistan has naval, air and land forces, as strong and faithful as any country can aspire to have. It is an agricultural country:and cotton ,rice and leather are its chief exports. Our present government, led by our untiring President, is leaving no stone unturned to make Pakistan as it was visualized by its illustrious founder. I believe that God will bless his efforts with success.
